This is said answer.
It’s an MX-5 160 Edition, which comes with the 2.0l, Recaro seats, Bilstein suspension and Eibach springs (as a dealer-installed accessory).
H/t to Duurtlang’s 406 for the cameo.

Thanks! We were stuck behind a geriatric Polo, so might as well pull over and use that time in a better way.

Wanted to chase you a bit longer but I couldn’t pass the stupid A3.

If it’s any consolation, I quickly got stuck again. And again.

I’m still amazed that the locals in Wales pulled over to let us past.

Moar Miatas! Jealous of those seats.

At least you could pass quickly in your MX5. The A3 sped up in the straights and didn’t give me a chance to pass.

They are sooo nice. It’s the main reason I got this special edition, as we can’t get them otherwise.

Same location, other angle. And without you in it:
The last picture is a bit weird. My rear wheel looks like it has some weird camber while your Mazda seems to get special attention from the driving gods.
Oh, and instant cat damage.

Downside of the Alps, especially during holiday season, are all the tourists. Why not drive at 50% of the speed limit so you can take in the scenery. Also, brake at random locations because you see something random unrelated to traffic.

Unfortunately, it’s the same over here. Drives me mad.

This post is severely lacking in Maximas.

The latest. I like how they’ve sharpened the lines, while still keeping the MX-5 smile/grin.
